MARIMBA JUKEBOX with DONA AMYROTOU

Commandaria Orchestra & Friends Concert Series presents Dona Amyrotou (marimba) in a special recital, seeking to familiarize audiences with the marimba and give them the opportunity to listen and get to know this uncommon and exceptional percussion instrument. The repertoire of the recital varies like an old Jukebox and the composers of the pieces are from all around the world. Dona, with the warm, vibrant, and unique sound of the marimba, will perform pieces originally written for the instrument and arrangements from different styles and genres.
