Arpimba for Marimba and Harp by Anna Ignatowicz-Glińska (world premiere)

Oktawia Bylicka and Dona Amyrotou collaborated for the first time as a duet in order to perform Arpimba for Marimba and Harp by Anna Ignatowicz-Glińska. The duo presented for the first time, in a world premiere, the piece Arpimba at a concert dedicated to the composer on 28th of October 2021 at Akademia Muzyczna im. Stanisława Moniuszki w Gdańsku in Poland. The players had the honor to collaborate with the composer before the performance and exchange thoughts and ideas. From then the duo managed to perform the piece Arpimba in Poland, Czechia and Cyprus. The world premiere day marked a significant milestone in the formation of the ‘Arpimba Duo.
